Without wanting to bring back anyone's unhappy memories what have been your worst vehicle driving or passenger experiences. Let's include boat sailing too. Mine as a driver has to be driving out of San in a rental car. The weather had been great so I hadn't thought to check in the how the windscreen wipers worked. Thirty minutes into my journey and the heavens opened. I could only get the wipers to make a single slow sweep so had to keep one hand on the wiper switch while driving along the Interstate in torrential rain. As a passenger it was when a brother-in-law drove to a funeral. After the service he got lost and missed the cremation. Then he decided not to drive the shortest and quickest way home and instead drove up the motorway(freeway) in the outside,fast so slowly that every other vehicle was overtaking him on the inside lanes.
